Clearview Supper Club

We were looking for a traditional Northwoods supper club experience. The bar area lived up to the expectation; friendly bartenders, warm atmosphere and good old fashioned cocktail. Our dining experience brought down the review though. Four of the five of us had the all you can eat fish fry. On Fridays the regular menu options are limited Even though the restaurant was not at capacity, the refills on the fish were slow, and refills on the potato pancakes were not allowed. The fish was fine. Nothing to go back for. The fifth diner had a filet. Again it was fine, but with so many dining options in the Northwoods, we would opt to try somewhere new next time.

Great place, old-fashioned supper club with a cozy atmosphere and great food and drinks. Love this place.

Food and Service are good. We did not need a reservation and were seated right away. We have been here a few times and it was the same each time, you need to make sure that you have a lot of time as it does take quite a while to get your food.

Strong Drinks. Great prime rib. And excellent service. Will be back next year 👌🏻

Been coming here for years and the food, drinks and service are always spectacular. Casual environment for a nice steak or sea food dinner with a view of Big St. Germain Lake.

Great service and atmosphere on a Saturday night. My dad and I had the Prime Rib which was tender and flavorful. My brother had the fried Walleye which he said had a great taste and melted in his mouth.

I love this place ! It's got everything ! GREAT EMPLOYEES ! GREAT FOOD ! ATMOSPHERE ! LOCATION ! Always friendly locals and other travelers to share conversation with .I'll write more after I return AGAIN in October . I'm trekking another 5+ hours this time to have my first Old Fashioned . I await in anticipation for yet another wonderful life experience at the Clearview Supper Club .

Wonderful food and friendly service!

Good place. I read some of the reviews about the service being slow but we didn't have any issues. Food was good, the Manhattan was excellent. I wouldn't say it was a typical "supper club" but it's got a great Northwoods atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

8 guys on a Saturday night and they run out of prime rib. And no rib eye either. Your a suppr club????

Used to love this place. Still great up north atmosphere, drinks, and service... but food has gone down hill it appears. 3 of us in our group got the walleye and it was flavorless and a very small piece of fish. The pot roast was just okay.

Great traditional Wisconsin supper club. My favorite is the 8oz beef filet, garlic stuffed. On this visit I ordered it medium rare, but it was at least medium, so overcooked. Beautiful any time of year.

Great food, great atmosphere!! The best tomahawk ribeye steak you'll ever have! On Friday try the blackened mahi fish tacos or bourbon street catfish.. Unbelievably good! Over 100 yrs of true northwoods excellence!!

Ordered the tomahawk ribeye. Came out just as ordered, medium rare. Side of mushrooms seasoned with garlic topped it off.

The best prime rib in St Germain, and genuinely nice people. Homemade salad dressings, good horseradish. Old Fashiones are done right. If it had the relish tray like the pub n prime, it would be the ultimate prime rib place. Meat seems to come out slightly more done than you ask, so maybe order it a little cooler than you normally would.

Best part was the drinks. My blue gill was good but we were a little disappointed that there is pretty much only fried fish - no baked or grilled option unless you get tacos (and the beans that come with them are WAY too garlic-y,something I thought I'd never say. Also, when I do to a fish fry at a supper club, I need hashbrowns or a baked potato; they had neither, only fries (these were good though) and potato pancakes (not appetizing). Second time here and I don't plan on coming back unless it's to pregame with drinks before I do somewhere else.I will say our waitress was great, she was very pleasant and on top of things even while she was hustling to keep up with the Friday rush.

Good fish fry...lakeview is obstructed. Decor is stuck in the 80s. Hostess was not the greatest.

Unfortunately went to the Friday night fish fry: cole slaw was dull, potato pancakes were burned and tasted burned, fish fry was okay. Will only return to patronize the bar, awesome martinis and no scree ups there.

I"m only sharing for my personal meal, the rest of our group meals were ok, and yes just basic ok.. it did take FORVER for the food to come out. I personally had the stuffed shrimp and they were terrible, teeny tiny little shrimp with a gob of goo on top that was not very good with a basic bake potato... FYI skip this choice for your meal if you go. We will not go back, so many amazing places to eat when your in great north with OMG tasty food.

We went here with a group of 25 and were willing to break up into separate tables to try and be easier, but we weren't allowed to split checks, so there was alot of awkward money shuffling that could have been avoided. Our server was also pretty pushy about getting her table back as soon as it looked like our food might be done. It wasn't. As for the food we went for a fish fry, and the food was ok. I had walleye which was cooked beautifully but under seasoned. The rest of the family had perch which was far over cooked, and still under seasoned. Overall the food was about 3 stars and and I dropped one star for the annoyance of splitting Bill's and being pushed out so quickly when there were open tables.

Staff was nice and friendly. Atmosphere is really nice. Such potential when we arrived. But the food just did not taste good. Steak was way over cooked. Ribs are just okay. Bluegill was chewy and fried chicken very salty. Even the croutons in the salad were stail price is very high for the quality of cooking.

Comfortable and cozy Northwoods supper club. Very welcoming staff. Even a few customers welcomed us! This was my first visit to Clearview, and I was impressed with the solid, homey fare. We sat next to the fireplace, which was a perfect end to a nippy day.

The food is delicious. The service is attentive and friendly.

Nice Lodge for dinner. Not many choices in the area. Don't go for appetizers on a Friday. They only do fish in the fryers on Fridays because of a small fryer or something??? Otherwise the food and service was good. Would have loved to try the apps though.

Another great meal at Clearview. The Bourbon Street Catfish is out of this world much less New Orleans.
